The formula
Days in month and the weekday of the 1st come from real Date arithmetic: the grid starts the 1st under its true weekday column and fills exactly that many days.
Worked example
June 2026 starts on a Monday and has 30 days: the 1st sits under Mo, and the 30th lands on a Tuesday in the fifth row. February 2028 shows 29 days because 2028 is a leap year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which months and years can I print?
Any month of any year from 1900 to 2100. The weekday layout is computed from the real calendar for the exact month you pick — try February 2028 to see a leap-year February with 29 days.
Why are some months taller than others?
A month needs five week-rows if its days fit in 35 boxes, and six rows when it spills over (for example, a 31-day month starting on a Friday or Saturday). The calendar adds exactly the rows that month needs.
Does the week start on Sunday?
Yes, Sunday-first, matching US wall calendars. Weekday names run across the top of the grid.
What is the best way to print it?
US Letter or A4 in landscape gives the boxes the most writing room. The page prints black on white with light grid lines, so handwritten entries stay easy to read.
